100 years ago, cider was a real currency in Dorset. At Copse House Cider, we’re reviving that heritage on 300 acres of farmland on Kine Bush Farm in Sandley, giving rise to orchards that yield some of the counties' finest apples and pears.

Bob Chaplin, our Cider Maker, was awarded the Bath & West Gold Medal for his lifetime contributions to the cider industry in 2013 and won the British Cider Championship in 2014 at the prestigious Royal Bath & West Show.

The team at Liberty Fields is made up of four friends who were interested in growing trees, preserving biodiversity and alternative uses for land on an organic dairy farm.

In the Spring of 2010, we planted our first 250 trees with the aid of some extremely helpful friends and volunteers, as well as a lot of expert advice. We have since planted over 1,600 trees with heritage cider apples and rare local varieties for preservation.

In 2015, our Apple Aperitif was awarded one of the highly coveted Producers Bursary Awards by the BBC Good Food Show which judged Liberty Fields "one of the most deserving small independent producers in the country."
